Windows

Hello friends. Welcome back.
Lots of things going on in the house. Let's start with window replacements.

We decided it was time to replace the old windows in the house with some new more efficient ones. I'll show you most of the news ones in the post.

Here's one of our bedroom windows.

Jeffery started the project by tearing apart one of our windows to see how big the space was that we needed for a replacement window.

As it turns out no one carried the window size we had it had to be special ordered, so instead we decided to cut hole bigger. We replaced all the bedroom windows with larger ones.

Adding a new spot to nail the window in place.

Two nice big windows in our room.

Trim added and painted. (The room is empty, we'll come back to that in another post.)

Calvin's room.

Henry's room.

Obviously this living room window needed to be special ordered. We purchased the new one from Menard's and it ended up being significantly cheaper than we anticipated. Hurray!

Tearing apart the old window.

I have very few pictures of this window replacement because since the bedroom ones were done I had Henry and he does not appreciate being put down. My dad and brother came over and helped Jeffery replace this big window.

Thanks for stopping by!
