This room is a room

Hi there! My goofy husband posed for a photo before he started painting the ceiling.  A task specially designed for the tall folk. Now he's hard at work. Rolling on the white paint. I just kept him company through the ceiling painting. We cleaned up a bit while the ceiling paint dried and then he installed the bulb portion of the recessed lighting. (Remember folks.. we did not test the electrical prior to putting up all the drywall... which could end up very bad.) So basically there's a can that goes into the ceiling and then the bulb is the fancy bit. It's on a cord like seen below. Placing the second one into it's spot. And now he has frog tape he's putting up on the ceiling. This stuff is the best.  A look at the paint color! Jeffery cuts in the corners while I roll it smooth behind him. He rolls the hard to reach areas for me. The wall is all painted and now to remove the tape. Jeffer...

Primed

Hi there!  We ran into a few financial bumps in the road, and I started college so progress slowed WAY down on the basement. Remember how I said that the next time you saw the downstairs it would be ready to paint? Well it's ready.. but you don't get to see until the end of the post. :) We figured we'd take the easy way out and instead of rip down the preexisting drywall we'd just attach more. Here it is with liquid nails, ready for us to lift the new drywall up. The drywall is up and secure there. (The pole to the right did end up having drywall built around it but I failed to capture any photos of that. Sorry :( ) Here Jeffery had to leave access to the large water pipe. He went a little happy on the foam insulation and it came out the bottom. Which was of course removed. Here Jeffery is liquid nailing pieces of wood to the sides of the vent for a place to attach the cover.  Now we don't just have hot air pouring out in...
