A few years ago I wrote a post entitled, "Before and After" which told the story of how we accidentally flipped a house. Well, we did it again. For those who don't know, Jeffery and I are selling our house, in fact it is under contract right now as I write about it. We had several offers to choose from, wrote down several points on each offer, and went with the one we felt would work best for our family. But why? Why are we selling this home we've poured so much time and money into? Well, we've decided to change the direction our lives were headed. We are opting for a simpler life. We simply have too much house, and not enough time. I want to spend more time with my kids, and less time tidying. Jeffery, he wants to start his own business and be able to take more time off to travel and be with family. And wouldn't you know it, he's going to start a carpentry business.
