Trimmed

Welcome back!

Let me start by saying that I took these pictures a long time ago. This got finished up the day I went into the hospital for an induction. It's not that I don't have time to write the blog, it's just that I'd rather play with Calvin. No hard feelings.

Without further ado, here's the "finished" product. Ignore that we haven't quite decided what to do about tile above the counter. Here's just a few pictures.

A view over to the left, you can see our white wall and the futon (also baby).

You may be thinking, oh hey it's so nice that you ran the stereo wiring behind the trim so it isn't showing, but you would be fooling yourself. There's no wiring there yet. Our audio receiver died last year and it would take an act of God to get Jeffery to finally buy a new one. It's just the last thing on his mind. The coffee table remains unfinished, we want to stain it to match the futon and do a concrete top. Some day folks, some day.

Our wet bar. We're undecided on what to do about backsplash, and we might install a wine rack. Our Ninja Blender has since been moved to above the fridge. (It was in the kitchen)

Well all that's really left to do is the backsplash, coffee table, and curtains. Next project won't be started for a little while, but it's going to be tackling that bathroom upstairs. It's going to be exciting. If you haven't seen the before of the basement take a look back through the blog. :)
