Upstairs

The first thing inside we decided to tackle was the upstairs. (And when I say we, I mean he. Jeffery did all the work up here.) It needed carpet pretty badly so we didn't move anything up there, and left it easier to work in. Calvin had been sleeping in the family room for the time being. To start out Jeffery ripped out all the old carpet in Calvin's room. The ceiling comes down really low in the room and it was sharp to the touch. Typically when they do ceiling they sand down a little bit to keep it from being pokey, but that wasn't done here. So we purchased something that should have been bought a long time ago.    A drywall sander.     He sanded the ceiling down to a neat marble/spider web texture and then painted it.   We replaced the fixture in Henry's room, and you can see the difference in ceiling paints here.
